Infamous Baby Dreams

While I was an undergraduate at the UWI Mona, I was fortunate to become friends with and live with some of the most interesting people in Jamaica :) One such person was Aisha Harris who, when I woke up one morning and told her about one very disturbing baby dream that I had, decided to interpret the dream for me. This was in 2004. In the dream there were three babies (3) who were not regular babies and they were plaguing me, sucking the energy out of me (literally). They were very skinny and shadowy but I still perceived them as babies in the dream. I tried chasing them and caught two (2) of them but the skinniest one of all slipped away down the bath tub drain! When I woke up, my heart was still beating from the chase. I had to tell someone about it. Below is the interpretation I was given for the dream:


Genesis 37, 39-41
God speaks to people through dreams. All dreams have spiritual meanings. It can be a dream of evil or good. (God prepares/warns through dreams, because he loves us.)

God is trying to show you that you have a spiritual stronghold/opening in your life, that you might not be aware of. As a result foreign spirits come and use up your resources. Resources that God has given to you, resources for your cleansing. They do not come in the open, but they sneakily come so that you do not know. But God wants to reveal it to you (if he hasn't already). He wants you to send them back to the place they belong. What God has given to you is yours and you need to protect it. The spirits are very small, seemingly innocent, seemingly helpless and harmless, but they plague you.
You have tried and God knows , you have caught 2 (not a literal number), but 3 in the spiritual realm is the number of completion. You need to complete the process. The other one has escaped your grasp, but it will come back. It will come back in the night (in your darkness, when no-one can see/when no-one will know). But 'you know' when it comes. Notice they are skinny? Like in Pharoh's dream, they want to feed on what is left.
Nb. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works complete...Revelations 3:2. God is trying to communicate to you. Dreams are a gift. Let him who is forewarned be prepared.

Hmm...It turns out that there were some things that I had been grappling with that were leaving me drained. It was from then that I decided to pay close attention to the recurring baby dreams. What are your thoughts on God speaking through dreams? Ever had an experience? I would love to hear it...
